So far Offensive genius and Personnel Guru Chip Kelly looks like the biggest ass clown in the league. Literally every offseason move he made is looking like FAIL so far. Just guessing, but D Murray is probably wishing he'd have taken the Cowboys offer and ran with it now.

We were missing quite a few key guys as well after we essentially lost three starters to injury in one half+

Based on what we saw last night and our injury/suspension situation I'd say 4-4 or 5-3 is probably the best we can realistically hope for.

That's what Broaddus was saying at end of preseason, that Bernadeau would be the first injury replacement at G. I kinda wonder if they'd start him though, they don't have another backup C/G so maybe they'd leave him in that role and start Collins instead.

Yep, it was awful. Honestly it was as bad, if not worse than last yrs. Losing Gregory is going to really hurt. For the few plays he logged he did blow by his guy a lot. Even when he does come back, almost assuredly wont be 100%. High ankle sprains take a long time to heal.

I still don't see how having Murray would have changed the results of those 4 plays in question. They were all obvious passing situations.

Hopefully it heals good and he can still have a productive yr. He was the only DL who showed any consistent get off tonight. Gonna be a big loss for sure while he is gone.
