Where do we go with no Romo?

Who's bashing him? Everyone knows he is an exceptional OL coach. But he was a lousy play caller and that was why he was stripped. It's also why nobody in the NFL has had him call plays except himself as a HC

Backup QB - Moore, Showers? or bring Vaughan back?

That's why they are moving him around, because he did show good athletic ability. They said the day they signed him to the PS that they were going to try him at a number of positions. He lined up in 3 or 4 different spots in preseason too.

Backup QB - Moore, Showers? or bring Vaughan back?

    Patrick Crayton was pretty decent

Where do we go with no Romo?

I'm posting to offset the ignorance you bring to the forum. Scott Linehan called all the plays last yr.

    DEZ down graded: 10 - 12 weeks

Winnable games next two weeks. Falcons probably lost RB T Coleman for our game, Saints are awful and Brees may not play either. 4-0 start with the shit that's happened to us would be pretty sweet.

Backup QB - Moore, Showers? or bring Vaughan back?

He'll make a fine developmental DB or WR prospect. He isn't a QB, which is why they started lining him up everywhere on the field in training camp.

Backup QB - Moore, Showers? or bring Vaughan back?

None of the above. I strongly suspect Moore is here just to be the scout team QB and extra arm anyway. I don't think they signed him to the PS with the intent to ever put him on the active roster. Showers I don't think is a QB any longer. They'll nab an unemployed vet who has at least started...

Predictions for the remaining games? Call it here!

I'd be pretty happy with Wahoo's 4-3 w/o Romo idea, and I am reasonably sure the Cowboy people would be too. We'd be 6-3 with a lot of winnable games down the stretch. Just my guess, but if they do better than expected w/o Romo I bet we don't see him or Dez until after the Turkey Day game vs...

Where do we go with no Romo?

I think its these things plus the Dez effect. Teams are able to completely alter the way they play defense against us when he isn't on the field. Then throw in the lack of practice time/preseason game time for th starting OL together, and it isn't all that hard to understand. Losing Callahan...

Press beating up Trump over no comment?

So Trump says nothing (literally) in response to the Obama/Muslim thing, and press goes crazy with it? Why is it important for Trump to comment on this at all in their eyes? Maybe Trump doesn't know because of stuff like this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XKGdkqfBICw

Where do we go with no Romo?

Considering they are already 0-2, they definitely wont be able to get to 3-0

Obviously they are going to have to protect him from himself

    Good Team

Escobar play was definitely a TD. Its where the ball is when the player is ruled down, and the ball was into the white line. The ball doesn't have to be INTO the end zone, it only has to touch the plane of the GL, which is clearly did. They claimed it was "too close to change". As someone else...

    2015 NFL Week #2: Dallas Cowboys (1-0) @ Philadelphia Eagles (0-1)

they did indeed...like I said, there could be a lot of reasons explaining the lack of "dominance", it clearly isn't there right now (although last week the starting OL gave Romo all year to throw virtually every drop back) I think it'll iron itself out though. Too much legit talent up front...

    2015 NFL Week #2: Dallas Cowboys (1-0) @ Philadelphia Eagles (0-1)

One other thing I'd point out about the OL, I do think some of the cohesiveness isn't there yet that we had last yr because they hardly practiced (or played) together during preseason. Too many guys missed significant time. Also not sure either Free or Zach Martin are 100%

    2015 NFL Week #2: Dallas Cowboys (1-0) @ Philadelphia Eagles (0-1)

Yeah it was the best, but some of that can also be attributed to how the Philly D played against us. They had 8 or 9 guys up on a lot of plays it seemed. They're front 7 is also pretty good. That said, Bernadeau was credited for 4 or 5 of the penalties the team had, and he played only slightly...
