Kitna was an adequate backup. Orton was an adequate backup. The fact Weeden won a couple of games for a team desperate to win to get in the playoffs tells me he was probably an adequate backup.

CMD, if he is a "franchise QB" he's well worth the 4th overall pick. Any of those top QB's would be if the scouts and coaches believe the guy has all the tools to be a high quality starter for a long time. He certainly seems to check all the boxes with physical tools. Size, strength, quality...

I don't know, if he has some stellar workouts and interviews well he will definitely move up some IMO I don't think Mayock's idea that QB's could go in 3 of the first 4 picks is that far fetched
