I still think Biden might be getting in in place of Hillary, perhaps right at the Dem convention. I've seen several people offer the opinion that Obama has had thoughts of how he himself could become a Supreme Court Justice, as you suggested in that other post.

There is some thought that he could do a "recess appointment", which means he would not need Senate approval. Recess began Friday apparently. No question if he does this that this kind smells.

If it weren't for ridiculously out of control spending, raising taxes wouldn't be necessary at all. Too much waste & corruption in the entitlement programs in place. They all need to be thoroughly restructured/redesigned.

They need help for sure. Really would be hard to complain much about adding defensive talent to a defense that needs help. That said, I'm still firmly of the belief the first pick should be a QB.

This would be a good move IMO. Will only be 25 in April and hasn't been overworked at all. Also doesn't fumble much and is a good receiver as well as runner. Also signing him negates any real need to draft a RB early, freeing them up to focus on other areas.

Rule #1 regarding the selection of a QB: If he has a 10 cent head, don't draft him. This guy did something beyond stupid recently. I suspect he wont get drafted.
