    Cowboy roster moves

Most of these guys were on the PS, but I don't see Rico Gathers name. They were considering adding him to the active roster last week, I hope he didn't get scooped up elsewhere.

Day After Thoughts- Season Over (22nd straight year)

I'd be happier making the Super Bowl then failing to even get to the conference championship game for 22nd straight year, 10 of those years under the watch of Red Headed Stooge

Agree on all. The only thing that really bothers me about the Butler call is we see teams do that every week. Players come and go and I've definitely seen players go in, only to turn around and come right back out. I get that its a rule, but if you never choose to enforce any other time...

Grading the Cowboys: Dallas' massive advantage was never realized in loss to Packers

I really think college football is where he belongs. Maybe not at an elite high end school like an Alabama, USC or OU, but something a tier or so down from them. Or maybe at a program that would perfectly satisfied winning 8 or 9 games a yr and going to a mid level bowl.

Day After Thoughts- Season Over (22nd straight year)

Yep, I kinda wonder the same thing. I bet at the least he gets a chance to at least compete for the job. He definitely has more speed, athletic ability and range than Heath, and when he was on the field this year he was not the disaster he had been previously. Maybe the game is starting to make...

Day After Thoughts- Season Over (22nd straight year)

He'll be a RFA after 2017, so we'll still control his rights for at least another season unless we get draft pick compensation to a team that signs him (I'd assume we'll qualify him at the highest level)

Correction on this, apparently after further research they did find one example of this being called. In 1984.

Jason Garrett defends Cowboys' decision to spike

This is why the TO (or just running the play quickly instead of a spike was the right call IMO) I'd have to go back and look at exactly the time left after the spike (I don't think it was 1:07 like this says above) But there were 47 seconds left AFTER the short completion to Beasley to get us...

So apparently its come out that the 15 yd penalty on Butler for the substitution thing was the first example anyone has ever seen of that call actually being made.

I guess its really up in the air. The Romo situation. Doug Free, Scandrick, if Witten were to retire. They've got a few decisions to make. I don't think it matters really. I think they've made it pretty clear the past 2-3 seasons that they have totally changed their philosophy on high priced...
