Yep, I wouldn't put him in HOF right now either. Good player and way out performed any reasonable expectations, but is not one of the elite players of all time.

Me either. It was just so pathetically stupid to release the guy, there just HAS to be something else going on there. Really dumb move IMO if it was truly just to get McFadden on the active roster.

They released Jackson to make room for McFadden They released that DE Zach Moore to make room for Gregory, and Moore was claimed by SF before we could get him back on the PS. I cant fault them for releasing Moore for Gregory, but I do think cutting Jackson for McFadden was stupid and short...

Not sure how they did this, but this is obviously a record number of 3rd rd draft picks awarded. Seems like most years there's 1-4 at most. Most years there's a ton of 7th rounders awarded compared to the other rounds, but this time there are only three 7th rd picks as opposed to ELEVEN 3rd rd...

Yeah, McKinley may slide some in draft now. Was almost assuredly a lock for being drafted in 20's I think. Now might go somewhere in 2nd rd.

Of why you'd cut a pretty physically gifted rookie RB that you drafted and had under contract 3yrs and kept on the roster the entire year, only to release him to make room for a 30+ yr old veteran RB who was a free agent after the season and cost much more money anyway.

Yeah there were people who thought Prescott could go as high as 2nd round after his Senior Bowl performance (not me, but others). The DWI definitely hurt his draft stock though.

Sapp fell because of the pot stuff, otherwise he'd have never slid. Emmitt fell where he did because of teams/peoples stupid obsession with "speed"

He was actually released to make room for McFadden, not Gregory. That said, I still think there must be something more to the story though.

I'm really hoping we get something for 2017 in this, whether its a draft pick or a starting quality player.
