What an epic clusterfuck game.
Seattle will be lucky to win 5 or 6 games tops, and they are absolutely wiping the floor with us.
No question Garrett and Linehan should be fired right after the game, but I know they wont be.
I don't know what Prescott is or isn't to be honest. I think most of his issues are the coaching, but that's my opinion.
He would never be Dan Marino or Warren Moon throwing the ball, but he has no chance with this staff.
Its also 100% official now too, this OL coach we hired from Cinci is a massive bust.
He's ruined one of the elite OL's in football. Even Zach Martin looks like a jag with this clowns coaching and blocking schemes.
As bad as the offense is, the defense has been equally as bad.
This is a Seattle team that they said had given up 12 sacks in two games. We have NOTHING.
Blown coverages left and right. Stupid fucktard penalties. Stupid field awareness.
Its a team that is as horribly coached as I've ever seen...
That had to be one of the most inept, uninspired, garbage fucking displays of football I've ever seen.
This is hands down the worst coached, worst prepared team in the history of our franchise. Offense and defense are both equally horrendous, and we can sprinkle in bookoos of mental errors...
"its one game"
He may well pan out. We'll see.
Zoners were all bent out of shape for a yr or so with the "OMG, Ware over Merriman!!!!! Our people our stupid!!!!!"
Like I said in the other thread on this, I bet they wanted to wait because they potentially get cap credit and may even be able to release him without paying him guaranteed money.
Kinda wondering if they were waiting for the official ruling on this all along. There may be language in his contract that voids guaranteed money if he is disciplined by the league.
That's fine, but good teams that are prepared don't lose to inferior teams just because "they are really desperate" or "really fired up". They lose because they didn't prepare, didn't take the game seriously or had a ton of turnovers.
This isn't junior varsity football.
So according to PFF then, Hernandez must have had an all pro performance against Dallas because his rating went WAY UP after facing us.
This despite us tearing their OL as a whole a new one virtually the entire game.
