2018 NFL Week #6 Gameday Thread: Jacksonville Jaguars (3-2) @ Dallas Cowboys (2-3)

Looks like Tavon Austin's groin injury is going to keep him out until at least after the bye week.

    Your takes on Dak..

He ran a decent amount vs NYG in week two as well. (7 for 45)

    Your takes on Dak..

He had the one overthrow on the deep ball to Austin yesterday, but he also threw several downfield that were pretty good throws too I thought. I really think his issue is footwork and mechanics, when he does them properly he throws some nice passes with some touch and accuracy. He gets in...

Running list of Jason Garrett embarrassing records and stats

Its one of his best attributes and one that helps the team. I get the added risks of him running, but with our limitations in the passing game and teams ganging up to stop Zeke at all costs, Dak running is almost a gimmee on some of those plays. Until teams start playing it we should keep doing it.

Zero unless we decide yesterday counts

2018 NFL Week #6 Gameday Thread: Jacksonville Jaguars (3-2) @ Dallas Cowboys (2-3)

I was actually surprised at some of what he was able to do after such a long layoff (remember he also missed the last 4 games of last season) He had several plays where he beat his guy into the backfield and probably would have blocked a punt if he hadn't been held. There was definitely more...

Drunken GM out there basking in the luck of yesterdays outcome, saying he's never seen such an overwhelming performance against that quality of opponent. Totally going overboard.

Running list of Jason Garrett embarrassing records and stats

So, is yesterday the first example of a Jason Garrett led team outcoaching someone? Anyone....anyone?

Ravens had 11 sacks on Marcus Mariota yesterday. We play the Titans the week after our bye on Monday night.

All the more impressive considering he didn't play much the first couple games or so.

2018 NFL Week #6 Gameday Thread: Jacksonville Jaguars (3-2) @ Dallas Cowboys (2-3)

After what I saw from Hurns and Thompson again today, I think I'd at least make the call to Oakland and see what they want for Amari Cooper. A top 3 of Cooper, Gallup and Beasley, and then sprinkle in some Tavon Austin wouldn't be terrible. Not saying I'd give up much to get him, but pregame...

2018 NFL Week #6 Gameday Thread: Jacksonville Jaguars (3-2) @ Dallas Cowboys (2-3)

Probably a lot of truth to this. I said that last week too, and it was 100% the WRONG decision. There were several plays during the game that Houston DL's jumped but managed to get back before the snap. A good hard count there would have had a decent chance of drawing them off. Even if you...

2018 NFL Week #6 Gameday Thread: Jacksonville Jaguars (3-2) @ Dallas Cowboys (2-3)

Every game that goes by, Jaylon Smith looks more and more like the guy most thought was worth a top-5 pick in the draft without the injury. Been saying it for weeks, but LVE is the real deal too. He keeps impressing. Whoever made the call to keep Maher over Bailey, not only was it ballsy but...

    Garrett's stock rising dramatically

So much for the pipe dream of shitcanning Garrett during the bye week

2018 NFL Week #6 Gameday Thread: Jacksonville Jaguars (3-2) @ Dallas Cowboys (2-3)

Well he got the vast majority of the targets, I don't know what Jacksonville was doing in their coverage for him but it wasn't working. No reason to throw elsewhere until the other team shows they can stop it. Beasley just had the first 100 yd game for a WR on our team since the KC game last...

2018 NFL Week #6 Gameday Thread: Jacksonville Jaguars (3-2) @ Dallas Cowboys (2-3)

Like I said last week, he should have went for it. The real problem I had with him on the decision was his reasoning. If he wanted to simply "pin them deep" because he trusted the defense (which had shown no ability to stop Houston all game except inside the 10) then when he won the toss in OT...

We were on their 41, would have been 58 yds. Definitely in his range in-doors.

Cowboys vs Other NFL Teams All-Time

Pretty sure that's just the Ravens, who are actually the original Browns. The Colts moved from Baltimore in the middle of the night.
