DMN: 5 thoughts from Cowboys' huge OT win over Eagles

They played great for 3 1/2 quarters +. They played like shit those last two drives (save the two sacks that got negated by penalties). Bad coverage and horrendous tackling.

Once upon a time, this is EXACTLY what Zoners said about me. I was either far too critical or too "homer"

Other than the 1988 drfat (his last in Dallas) this Tony Dorsett move was the last great flash Brandt would have as GM here. We did rape Seattle in that trade. 1071932719074963456

Really hoping the game vs Indy is moved to 4:25. Currently it's at 1:00pm and I'll be on the road then. The only late slot FOX game currently is Seattle-San Fran. New England-Pitt pm CBS is the national doubleheader game at 4:25 so CBS is likely dying to keep any real competitor games out of...

Yes, Deion "Prime Slime" actually accused Zach Martin of basically taking a dive and bailing out of the game.

Cooper highlight reel. After the Redskins game and yesterday, you'd think teams would almost have to commit two defenders to him almost every play. As Troy noted during the game, teams really haven't changed the way they are trying to load up and stop Zeke yet, but these two games might start...

I have no idea who this asshat is, but he's truly Zoner quality with a dumbass twitter post like this. 1071948790654009344 Why would any fucktard try to compare Aikman's first 3 yrs with what basically represented an expansion team in 1989/1990, to Prescott's? Also, when does Troy EVERY act...

I find this rather amazing. Not just because Cooper is on the list, but that the others on it didn't account for more of these games. We've had some truly great WR's over the years here. I actually don't believe this is accurate but it's out there. 1071987071366107138

Why would our defense be "tired" though? We rotate guys constantly, we had the ball more than twice as much game time as Philly (45:33 to 22:32) and we had almost double the number of plays they had (93 to 48) They weren't tired, they just played like crap those last two drives. To me it ruined...

Bears D now has 40 sacks and 34 turnovers for the season. We have 35 sacks but only 14 turnovers.

Rams have real problems stopping the run too. If we ended up playing them in January and could somehow avoid turnovers, we can hang with them for sure. Zeke could possibly go for 180-200 vs them.
