Steve Hutchinson was drafted 17th, and some say DeCastro is the best guard to come out in the draft since him. So, 14th isn't too high if you can get that kinda quality.

I still don't believe he gets the record without Allen in front of him through his career.

I didn't compare him to Larry Allen. I was exemplifying how having a pro bowl guard is a massive addition to the team and using Allen as that example. If you had read the thread, though, you would already know that.
