Tony Romo Just Fine With Playing the Bus Driver | NBC 5 Dallas-Fort Worth
Hmm....
Dallas Cowboys' Tony Romo 'all for' complementary role - ESPN Dallas
Roundtable: Run Game Success; Romo A Bus Driver.
He's a Bus Driver, and likes it.
Romo hurting his back might have been the best thing to happen for him, career wise. It forced the PTB in Dallas to focus less on him "carrying" the team, and more on a diversified effort.
Diversified effort = championships.
:lol
Understands that when you make Romo a bus driver and therefore limit your liability, you might go 13-3 and win the NFC.
The "franschise" never "carried" you to much better than .500 ball, all time in his tenure. The Bus Driver might get himself a ring.
Been able to get by with him, no question. His official backup is a guy named Donald Hawkins and I don't know his status or abilities but I do know he is only 22 and 6-4, 330. The other backup is 7 year pro Bernadeau and I don't know much about him either.
They're dangerously thin in depth in...
It's not like they were beating great teams though. Philly I don't think is great as yet, but it was a big step up for the G men in competition.
The patella is bad news. Might be career ending, sadly.
But in that we see the actual formula - the opponent HELPS US beat them up when they concentrate and key on, the run. They can't possibly keep it up long enough to help themselves much.
