You make it sound like Bradshaw's comments were ignored or minimized, but Google reveals that it was covered by a slew of media outlets. The fact remains that Bradshaw answered a question he had no idea was coming whereas our owner (who should know better) picked a fight unprovoked. Apples, oranges.

The point is that he didn't intend to insult Romo. Answering a question honestly is not "trash talking." Jerry running his mouth about the Gmen to whip up the crowd is totally different.

Bradshaw was honestly answering a direct question. He didn't go out of his way to gratuitously slam Dallas, as Jerry did with the Giants.

You're talking about tabloids, and tabs trade in sensationalism. They don't have a story if Jerry doesn't light the fuse.

Why would they? With their recent record, they have no reason to trash talk. Jerry should have remembered that.
