2023 NFL Week 9: Dallas Cowboys vs. Philadelphia Eagles

Cowboys coach Mike McCarthy when asked multiple questions today about WR Brandin Cooks only having one catch (2 targets) vs. the Eagles: “We play to the discipline of the quarterback and the training of the quarterback. Yes, I’d love to see everybody get the ball. But when you throw for (374)...

If Chris Simms is correct, then it's definitely a TD. What's not debatable is Schoon's left knee is down when the ball (initially) is short of the GL. However if he hasnt completed the catch yet, then his knee can't be used to rule him "down" at that point (which is the point Simms makes) If...

2023 NFL Week 9: Dallas Cowboys vs. Philadelphia Eagles

Jamar Chase has 93 targets and Tee Higgins has 51. The player 3rd in targets for them is also a WR (Tyler Boyd). They hardly throw to anyone else. Second, Higgins has caught barely 50% of the balls thrown to him. But for the entire team, they have 6 guys with 10+ receptions and 6 guys with a...

2023 NFL Week 9: Dallas Cowboys vs. Philadelphia Eagles

Yeah sorry Aggie, you'd have a point if the offense werent playing better since Lamb's numbers have gone up, but thats not the case. The offense got better once they started targeting Lamb more. And Prescott's numbers when targeting Lamb are astronomically high. He isnt forcing the ball to him...

Despite their record, the Eagles haven't exactly been world beaters. They could definitely lose a couple of these.

I never said he had a good game or a bad game. He's average this year. He was much better before he got hurt though. He's been nowhere near as bad as Steele though.

Its probably a no-doubter for guys like Mahomes, Allen, Jackson, Hurts & Burrow

2023 NFL Week 9: Dallas Cowboys vs. Philadelphia Eagles

Only ones that are somewhat surprising to me are Prescott (thought he def played better than their grade), Tyler Smith (ditto), Hooker (did absolutely nothing and blew what should have been an easy pick on throw it up for grabs ball into endzone to Brown, but slowed down). Steele's overall grade...

2023 NFL Week 9: Dallas Cowboys vs. Philadelphia Eagles

None of the sacks that Steele was credited giving up are debatable. Steele got whipped immediately on everyone of them. He has been putrid all year and yesterday he had an epic clusterfuck of a game.

Thats what Olsen was alluding to during the broadcast, that Ferg didn't get the pick done correctly. That said, Chris Simms posted this today. If he is correct, how is it that none of the refs and New York (league office ) didnt know this.

#2 should be replaced immediately Edoga was pretty decent at LG, held up ok at LT a couple games or so too. If he is healthy let him play RT. If not give Asim Richards reps in practice there. He wont be as physical in the run game but at least he's athletic enough to not be a fucking turnstile...

The ref even said that postgame one time when they whistled him twice for offsides in the same game. The reporter said replay showed he wasn't offsides and the ref said they called it "because nobody could get to the QB that fast without being offsides"

2023 NFL Week 9: Dallas Cowboys vs. Philadelphia Eagles

I honestly dont see what you are complaining about. CeeDee Lamb has been sensational the last 3 games and the offense has played its best football by getting it to him. His targets have gone up and the passing game production has gone up. Eventually teams will start doubling Lamb every play or...

2023 NFL Week 9: Dallas Cowboys vs. Philadelphia Eagles

Yep, a good organization would respond to this by benching him. He's been bad every game. I'd have to check to confirm but in most games he's been the lowest graded OL for us. He was one of the 5 or 6 lowest rated starting tackles in the league BEFORE yesterday. He was really good last yr...
