    The above was a great play and a nice throw, but it was also only 3rd and 5. There ended up 3 Stealers in the area of Turpin and one of them almost closed the gap to knock it away. Look at how wide open Luepke was.

    Real test of whether the run defense is "improved" comes the next two games v Detroit and San Fran Do a quality job there, and maybe they are moving in the right direction. Until then, not really buying it.

    Guyton doesnt "suck", he's had ups and downs like almost any rookie LT would have. Nobody mentions it but the Stealers were without their other edge rusher (Highsmith) and his backup got hurt during the game and didnt return either. Guyton will be a very good player for a long time.

    This would have him potentially back for Thanksgiving or maybe the MNF game v Cinci the following week (mini-bye week)
