The 2018 Debacle as I see it

That's not updated with the extension we recently did on Witten though.

I would appreciate you answering my PM messages Pally. Carry on.

It’s time to move on from Dez

Thinking back on it, I believe you're right. They used to play off him in a cover two quite a bit, last couple of years they typically jam him at the line and play single. They don't do that if there's any respect at all for the speed. Good observation, dbair.

It’s time to move on from Dez

He might still have if he works at it in the offseason. Lack of real speed has been a team weakness for many years, Dez is hardly alone in that.

It’s time to move on from Dez

That's a Dez thing. He can't get open. Williams has that coveted 70 percent somehow, and no one would argue he has better hands. He does get separation though and doesn't freelance routes. Dak and Dez never developed any chemistry and Dez is an aging player in decline.

:lol In addition, we have a Dez thread. This is the Dez thread. The piece of shit deserves exactly one thread.

This is a thread about Dez Bryant. That is why we are commenting about Dez Bryant, in this thread. There are other threads for the other stuff. This is message board 101, threads are topical.:smile1

Nobody's ever said he was slow. But he definitely did NOT have elite, blazing speed. Nobody's ever been afraid of his speed. It's simply never been one of his tools and never been a calling card. He had ADEQUATE speed.

It’s time to move on from Dez

If a team loses a key guy to injury in camp I could see it as a desperation hole-filler. Dez has lost most of any upside he had, for reasons not the least of which is his trick knee. There's just not a huge market for a mostly washed-up head case diva WR, especially with most of the FA signing...

I think that's lack of character more than lack of basic intelligence. The two aren't mutually exclusive. But yeah, it does seem Jerry has worked for the last 22 years to prove Jimmy wrong, he seems to think dumb players can be instrumental in winning Lombardis!

16 million annually wasn't enough motivation.

And there's nothing wrong with that. Personally I don't really see it that way - Dez's troubles are of his own making - but your opinion is reasonable. I blame Dez 99 percent, the red clown 1 percent. (If he does well elsewhere) I think that's just as reasonable. It's far more likely that if he...

That the players voted on. Not appointed by the coaches. Maybe Dez is too stupid to know that?

Plus, if the piece of shit gets "hurt" during the OTA we're stuck with him and his fucking 16 mil for the year. We HAD to avoid him ever suiting up again.
