Starters Webster and Thomas were second rounders. Prince and Phillips were first rounders. If they sacrificed a second round pick for any of these guys, that's news to me.

Close. We lost a high pick and possibly Jenkins to boot, so unless Claiborne is twice the player Jenkins is (doubtful), you're merely running in quicksand.

Did you read Sturm's writeup today? It's hard to get better when you keep replacing young guys you drafted three or four years ago. If Jenkins were a flat out bust or TO-like malcontent, I could see making this move, but I still see a leaky o-line, an inept pass-rush, and non-playmaking safeties.

CB was a luxury, not a pressing need. Could the G-men have won a championship with Carr and Jenkins in their secondary last year? No reason to believe otherwise.
