That would make sense if this was a fan or player survey, but this is Jaworski--a fellow pro who breaks down film and knows a good QB when he sees one.
So much anger and vitriol over an unknown (Escobar) and a barely known (Hanna).
I see him as a complement to Witten but not a successor. He doesn't appear fast or nimble enough to be a true #1. Maybe more of a red zone threat than a "move the chains" guy. Of course, all of this is ridiculously...
da fuk? most of those clips are several years old. I even spotted Tashard Choice for God's sake. and fuck the guy who uploaded a grainy, standard def(!) clip from the Steelers game.*
* no reflection on you, middy
Meh. "We played 'em close!" is loser talk. The fact that we lost three Super Bowls in the 1970s by a total of 11 points does not make me feel any better.
Big deal. We pick up a veteran linebacker every other year and it never makes a significant difference. God help us if you're counting on Detroit's castoffs.
That I never suggested. Sorry if it came off that way. I fully concede that we have talent, just not championship caliber talent. I just think that if given a choice between Rob Ryan and the '85 Bears or Kiffin and the current Dallas defense, Red and Jerry would opt for the former.
I don't think there's much to learn about the pro game if you already have talent (see: Barry Switzer). Not sure JJ coached football any differently in '92 than he did in '89. Training camps were brutal all through his reign.
