I can't fathom any other team that would hire him at his age. A guy who owes Jerry for his job isn't likely to tell him to fuck off when need be. And if his tenure in Cleveland is any indication, he wouldn't be able to help with talent acquisition.
Just say no to the fat fossil. I don't want someone who can "work with" Jerry. I want someone who will tell Jerry that he will be a silent partner and have no control or input regarding the football side of the business. That ain't walrus boy.
We need a youngish, firebreathing ass kicker who will truly change the culture at VR. But Jerry doesn't care for "walk on eggshells" kinda guys, so the point is moot.
Never said it was, but even Jimmy Johnson says that Red has too much on his plate these days. And Jerry would be much more inclined to blame Red's workload as opposed to his shitty drafts and FA acquisitions.
If I were a betting man, I'd say that everyone is coming back next year. But Jerry might force Garrett to give up play-calling duties before the 2013 "win or else" season.
Rex runs the entire D in NY, so he'd have no need for his brother.
