Eagles hire OL coach- AS DEFENSIVE COORDINATOR

I didn't put words in your mouth. I used your words verbatim and applied the exact same "logic" that you used.

JJT: We're about to find out if Garrett is strong enough to keep Jerry in his place

Oh yeah. Especially for a team that plays outside and kicking in cold weather.

JJT: We're about to find out if Garrett is strong enough to keep Jerry in his place

Exactly. Beuhler may or may not be the answer, but the recent trend shows that a kicker released from the Cowboys, bounces around several teams before finding "success".

Something Jason Garrett can learn from Mike Tomlin

Like someone earlier said, "LeBeau is the straw that stirs that drink." This is one of the reasons why I was against bringing Cowher here, because LeBeau was the real deal behind the Steelers recent success. LeBeau made the HOF as a player but he should also make it as a coordinator. So in...

Eagles hire OL coach- AS DEFENSIVE COORDINATOR

There is alot more to calling defensive plays for 11 men on the field than just knowing the supposed weakness of one particular unit. If that's the case, why not simply promote every Oline coach to DC? Better yet, with this logic, I guess this qualifies a Dline coach to be come an OC, because...

Eagles hire OL coach- AS DEFENSIVE COORDINATOR

There you have it. It will be a good thing for us, because you also wanted Fisher and thinks that he would be good for us.

Sturm: Cowboys can learn from Super Bowl teams how to use the 3-4

No need to get nasty, Bob Sucamanoff.

Sturm: Cowboys can learn from Super Bowl teams how to use the 3-4

Uh yes he is. Pretty much that is exactyly what her played at Nebraska. You're the only one that thinks Amukamara as a safety. But then again, you thought keeping Pasqualoni would have been a good thing.

Pro Football Weekly: Cowboys have 2 of the top 50 players in the NFL

It's a sick joke. Funny as to how Romo throws over 4,000 yards and has no less than 26 TDs and is one and done in the playoffs, and he barely cracks the top 15 of last year, but Vick throws a 1,000 yards less and 21 TDs, and is one and done, and he gets #4. Then they seem to reward Gates for...

Pro Football Weekly: Cowboys have 2 of the top 50 players in the NFL

    41. WR DeSean Jackson / Philadelphia Eagles Jackson is one of the NFL's premier deep threats. Anyone with the speed to run under one of Michael Vick's bombs is a nightmare to cover, and that's Jackson, who had 21 of his 47 catches this season go for 20 yards or more. He is capable of burning...

Pro Football Weekly: Cowboys have 2 of the top 50 players in the NFL

    31. DRE Dwight Freeney / Indianapolis Colts One of the NFL's most feared pass rushers, Freeney has rare speed off the edge and a patented spin move he uses with devastating effect. He must be accounted for at all times, and he can impact the game even if he doesn't sack the quarterback. 32...

Pro Football Weekly: Cowboys have 2 of the top 50 players in the NFL

    11. QB Drew Brees / New Orleans Saints It was an uncharacteristically sloppy season for Brees, who threw a career-high 22 interceptions. He did lead the league in completion percentage (68.1), however, and threw 33 TD passes, which tied for the second most in the league. He sets the tone for...

Pro Football Weekly: Cowboys have 2 of the top 50 players in the NFL

Here are the listings. 1. QB Tom Brady / New England Patriots Brady was exceptional in the regular season, completing 324-of-492 passes for 3,900 yards with 36 touchdowns and a mere four interceptions. Including the postseason, Brady went 339 passes without throwing a pick. The Patriots...

Sturm: Cowboys can learn from Super Bowl teams how to use the 3-4

WRONG. Amukamara grades out better at CB than Peterson. Amukamara is a man CB. Using him at safety would be a waste.

Sturm: Cowboys can learn from Super Bowl teams how to use the 3-4

I have. Those that feel he would convert to safety give the reason of his size and skill set. Peterson is not a man CB but rather zone and with his athleticism, would make him perfect FS.

Sturm: Cowboys can learn from Super Bowl teams how to use the 3-4

When Woodson was here, he was our best DB. Which CB on either the Steelers or Ravens is a better DB than Polomalu and Reed, respectively? During his stint with the Eagles, Dawkins was their best DB.

Jerry Jones insists on expanded season

They are not going to do that/ Alot of money is made during those two weeks with hyping up the big game.

Jerry Jones insists on expanded season

Preseason is nothing but glorified scrimmages. The fans care only because after a long offseason they are so football starved and preseason is meat for them. Why else can they get away with charging the same amount for a preseason game as a regular season game?
