Maybe because of Aldon Smith, OLB. That'd be my guess. Smith is probably the 2nd best OLB prospect in this draft behind Quinn.

But the difference IS that the 49ers really do need a QB. So their interest in checking out a 1st round QB is probably more sincere than ours.
