Have to see more of him. He's going to have excel on ST. How is he on blocking? Gronk has improved a bit, but I'm not certain I trust him. He cost us both Bryant and Romo for the season because of his missed blocks. And Chapas hasn't shown to overtake Gronk.

Butler may have alot more upside than Ball. But I agree that our secondary is not as "not so good" as advertized. I think the secondary is solid. I like the agressiveness that it's showing. I'd be fine with Jenkins and Scandrick starting, and with McCray or Newman as slot.

Newman signed a 7 year extension a few years back. It was frontloaded, and the guaranteed portions of the contract are in the first 3 years. This is year 3 and thus the last of the guaranteed portion, and so he will not be cut this season.
