This is what dbair and myself were talking about. The no-calls. Hightower has a 9 yard run, but the ref is standing right there to see the Dallas defender get held---it looked more like a block in the back, and yet... no call.
Did they? I hope the Cowboys' players saw that. The Redskins---their fans and players are as classless as the Eagles and their fans. I have yet to hear or see a Cowboys' player stomp on the Native head, but then again, I can understand then not doing it because they've won more games there than...
Well if you count that last game of the 2007 season, when Romo only played 3 quarters, because the game didn't mean anything with the Packers losing earlier that day, and thereby the Cowboys cementing the #1 seed.
Yeah I know, he likes to go for the kill shot. Although, we still could have won that game. Now if Garrett didn't want to show anything early, then that's fine. Right now, would be a perfect time to do the screens.
I'd like to see Romo do some rollouts.
I have yet to see any officiating as bad as the one witnessed in 2009 against the Packers. The refs might have just put on Packer jerseys---it would have been more honest.
But like I said, Jerry somewhat brought this on the Cowboys by running his big mouth about Ed Hochuli over that...
Garrett to my knowledge, has not called any screen plays, well maybe one, all year. I wonder does that change this game because of the Redskins tendency to bolitz?
That's what people fail to understand, it's not just the refs making calls against us---legitimate or otherwise, but rather the non-calls in favor of the opposing teams that face Dallas. That's where the damage is done.
I don't like Vick or anybody that plays for the Eagles, but he does have a point. I don't have much sympathy for him, because the late hits he's been getting do not compare in number to what Romo gets.
I see the Dolphins maybe going after Rob. They're seeing how it worked out well for the Jets, so why not add another to the division? Now that would be a fun division to watch. But yeah, I can see the Giants going after Rob. If that happens, ESPN would be unbeaqrable because it will always be...
It's not true. Since 2005, Moss had only three 100 yard games. He didn't have any at all last year against the Cowboys in both meetings, nor the year before (2009).
But more importanly, you forgot to mention how last year, we had a lame duck DC in Paquoloni, as opposed to the very agressive Ryan of now. That game was closer than what it should have been. We went to a prevent defense way too early.
What they should do, is when Costa gets healthy, kick him out to LG over Nagy---I think he'll do better than Nagy, and just keep Kowalski at Center. Naturally, Costa would be our backup Center, and cna jsut slide on over in case Kowalski is hurt.
