I was wondering this as well. A guy that was banged up all season and still gave it his all---more than all the other players in the secondary combined, what is there not to like about him? I know he may not have been a Garrett guy when he was first drafted and his first couple of years because...
What about Smith?
Indeed. What people are failing to grasp is that you can have all-pros at every position on defense, but if the offense continues to stall on drives and go 3 and outs, to where it tires out the defense, then what's the point?
Fix the Oline FIRST. That will help the offense...
That's exactly what it is. A very bad reach, hence why this jacknuts made that selection. He's hoping that the Cowboys would make a massive reach, and then for a guy/position that is waaaaaaaaay down on the list of needs for the Cowboys.
I understand that there will be reaches made in this...
I don't know of any Cowboys' fan, particularly on this board, that was ever clamoring for Jackson. And it would be foolish to use a SECOND on this guy, when we have so many other needs. I mean, can he play either guard spot, OLB, CB, and safety?
One of the most useless cliches. It wasn't the Packers' defense that won them the Super Bowl last year. It wasn't the Saints' defense that won the the Super Bowl the year before. It wasn't the Colts' defense that won them the Super Bowl. I could go on.
Either that or he hates the Cowboys so much, that he's hoping that the Cowboys would be that retarded to make such a selection. You need to udnerstand that people who do these mocks are also fans and they have their likes and dislikes. If a guy hates the Cowboys, why would he create a mock that...
Fuck that! Where's the outrage over them passing on Aaron Rodgers and taking Alex Smith, since people like to throw up on how the Cowboys passed on Randy Moss for Greg Ellis?
I reserve judgement on Scandrick until he's been coached under Henderson. I've always said that Scandrick could be very good as a slot CB for us with much better coaching.
Well let'e hope either him or DeCastro keeps him on the bench even longer.
I am kind of working my way to the idea that we will not draft DeCastro. But Zeitler would be a great consolation prize.
In fact, I'm liking the idea of this partial draft.
1st: Upshaw
2nd: Gilmore
3rd: Zeitler
No. They cheated as well, as it's been found out. If Viniteiri doesn't make those kicks and if they don't cheat, the Patriots don't win any of those Super Bowls. It's not like they were dominant in those wins.
Kowalski did an excellant job with the opportunies he was given. In fact, outside of Smith, he did better than any rookie and 2nd year player on the Oline. He easily is a better Center than Costa.
