I'd sit him. I think we would be fine for this one game without him, even if it were the Giants. If we were to lsoe to the Giants, I don't think it would be because we were without Witten. Bring him back for the Seahawks.
This is ignorant. In fact, much of the article is ignorant. The Cowboys were ranked #14 in tiotal defense last year, while having a shortened offseason and being in Ryan's first year defense. They've since upgraded the secondary, and more importantly upgraded the other ILB spot. The Cowboys now...
A lot of people talk about how are Oline is going to get demolioshed by the Giants' Dline. But what's overlooked is that it wasn't the Giants' pass rush that beat us last year. Far from it. Bad secondary play is what did us in, along with bad route running by Miles. The Oline did it's job. If we...
HELL NO! He's an injury waiting to happen. He's a lousy blocker, Phillips is better. Fact is, he's also a Redskin. He was never just a Redskins' player but also a Redskins' fan. He'd screw us over if it would helpt the Redskins.
I can't either. Witten wannabee. I still remember as to how Redskins' fans tried to claim that Cooley was as good and in some cases better than Witten.
Chris Cooley was released by the Redskins. WOW! Didn't see that coming. I expected they would hang onto him for at least another year. Not pretty smart if you ask me. 1.) Can Davis be relied upon with his drug issues? and 2.) they take a cap hit of $4.3 million. and 3.) they lose a valuable backup
Not really or maybe to some extent. Ware is going to get his whether they game plan for him or not. Do you think Ware does what he does because he's NOT being game planned for? Every team gameplanned for Michael Jordan, but a lot of good it did. The defense would suffer a lot more without Ware...
I think Holmes would survive on the PS. He hasn't really distinguished himself. Now this is a guy that had the most opportunity to lock down the #3 spot and just didn't do it. He came into camp failing a conditioning test, and then just never went forward.
I know he is on blitz pickup, but considering the state of our Oline, we can't afford to have misses like that. Speaking of blocks, Harris had a nice block that sprung Murray for that 11 yard run, just right before he caught that 60+ yard TD.
I don't know what game you saw, but Smith was not as inconsistant as you claim. Smith definitely owned his ass on that first TD play by Harris. You really overblowing it.
Did you miss where Felix missed the blitzing LB, who blasted Orton? Gave me a flashback to when Gronkowski whiffed on the block that cost Romo for the season.
Claiborne by himself was worth more to us than Brockers, but then throw in Crawford. I know there were plenty of people that wanted Janoris Jenkins. I'd say avoid any player with the last name Jenkins, especially if they're a CB.
