Garrett is a lousy playcaller. Period. Lacks clock-management skills. That has nothing to do with the OL. The lack of discipline, lack of execution, lack of sense of urgency, the penalties... that doesn't have anything to do with the OL.

We could be superior to the Redskins in every aspect, and we would still find a way to lose. Ever since the Wade-Garrett-Garrett-Ryan era, we lose when things are on the line like this. Proof? The fact that we are in this situation. A better HC and staff would have us playing for the #1 or #2...

Someone could make the same argument for Ryan as DC, with our defense. I don't consider what we have as "quality" safeties. Maybe you do? I'm not defending Ryan by any stretch. I feel about him like I feel about Garrett: I'd be happy with both of them being gone.

Because it would mean we are stuck with Garrett AND we are going to get our asses handed to us in the playoffs AND we would have lost valuable draft positioning.
