Damn....This shit is getting personal.
And what risk is it to the team if Romo gets hurt? He's not playing next year and this is Dak's team now. If he lights it up, then it only increases his value.
I still hate Garrett. I still think the guy is a mediocre head coach (and coach in general). But some things are being done right. Is it Linehan? Marinelli? Home run draft picks like Dak and Zek? Defensive players playing way above their head? All the above? It's a perfect storm that has...
This is absolutely astounding. Mind-numbing......I had to do a double take when I read that stat. Pair one of the best QB's in the history of the game with one of the game's greatest head coaches and this is what you get.
I guess if you believe in the D anything is possible. But the D won't hold up every game. We've seen the D bail out the O but not really the O bailing out the D in a shootout. I'm not sure this team is built for that, or at least not with Dak at QB.
Really? I worry about shootout and/or a real good defensive team that would expose a rookie QB. I think a team like the Packers or Atlanta, or even a team like the Giants could give us trouble.
Holy smokes....Mariota out, Carr out, Tanehill out, Houston playing their 2nd string QB who mustered 13 passing yards int he first half. What the fuck is going on. New England should just print their Superbowl tickets.
The dink and dunk criticism makes sense the closer we get to the playoffs. If our goal is to protect a rookie QB, then it makes sense. But D coordinators are starting to figure it out and this type of mindset forces us to move the ball down the field and play mistake free football. A holding...
You very well may be right. It could also be the case that this coaching staff knows this but they want to get something for Romo in return. Problem is, I have little faith in this staff. I know, I know, t's a fucking ugly cycle.
It's not a popular opinion based on the success the team has been having thus far, but I think the better QB at this point in time is sitting on the bench. And we're going to enter the playoffs with a rookie. And I don't make that assertion without looking at season in totality. Folks see...
Yes. I don't mean to say he can't be that guy down the road. But the story this season is Zek and the D, followed by Dak. Dak is a bus driver which, again, there's nothing wrong with that but our D has to play lights out in the playoffs for this team to have a chance.
