It’s time to move on from Dez

:lol at you deflecting. I never said anything of the sort about Rob Ryan but to act like he was responsible for Claiborne is dumb.

Jean-Jacques Taylor: What has impressed me about Cowboys coordinator Kris Richard

Which begs my next question....if Kris Richard is so good, why was he fired from Seattle? Honest question, as I really don't know a lot about him.

Running list of Jason Garrett embarrassing records and stats

I'm probably stating the obvious but for the benefit of any new folks, I don't think that's our "Doomsday." The Doomsday in the Tweet has 37 followers. Way too many to be our Doomsday; he'd only have dbair.

Running list of Jason Garrett embarrassing records and stats

My previous post was linked by someone responding to that silly Tweet. So to get this straight, we needed consistency with a veteran QB in Romo and now we need consistency with a rookie QB. Garrett's the luckiest guy alive.

10 post-draft issues the Cowboys still face, including the worries at tight end

Just some young folks who have grown up with safe spaces. It's a sign of the time. No dialogue or opinion is accepted or even allowed unless it mirrors their own. Unfortunately for them, the real world can be a cold and cruel place.

10 post-draft issues the Cowboys still face, including the worries at tight end

There's always the exception. If Jerry had some issue which caused the NFL to force Jerry to sell (ie: Donald Stern and the Clippers situation), I'd be acceptable to that. But barring that, the current situation calls for extreme measures.......

Yeah.....but don't knock it. This would be a good start.

Cowboys are prepared to pay Dak Prescott what "he deserves"

He might. Nothing would surprise me with Jerry. But I won't watch a QB who's paid like a franchise QB that I know lacks the arm talent to lead the team.

Cowboys are prepared to pay Dak Prescott what "he deserves"

This year will be a big year for Prescott. For me, unless I see a completely different player than I did last year, I'm looking for a QB in the 2019 draft.

Why did Dallas move on from Ryan Switzer so soon?

Did I say different? Your point? He was drafted as a WR. I said as much. He struggled at safety after a failed "conversion attempt." Now he's back at CB. I'm not even sure what you're arguing with. It's a failed strategy in Dallas. You initially commented to theoneandonly about his...

Why did Dallas move on from Ryan Switzer so soon?

Crayton was a WR for most of his college career. He was never drafted by Dallas to be a QB. This...... It's not position "flex" when we make Byron Jones into a safety. That move had minimal success, at best, and now we want to move him back to CB. We miscalculated. And the reason I got...

Why did Dallas move on from Ryan Switzer so soon?

I feel like these clowns we currently have understand the concept but can't identify the talent to make the transition or coach that player. Our buddy dbair mentioned in an earlier post about NE and a certain coach doing the same thing we are which is baloney. That guy isn't pigeonholed into a...

Why did Dallas move on from Ryan Switzer so soon?

Also, no way Noah Brown is big enough to be converted to a TE. Even if he puts on weight, he's still only 6' 2"....Way too short.

Why did Dallas move on from Ryan Switzer so soon?

Yep. Good call. And Rayfield Wright and Mark Tuinei were successfully converted to different positions.

Why did Dallas move on from Ryan Switzer so soon?

And for the most part, they were all failures although maybe one can argue that Smith was acceptable at FB but we don't value that position and, IMO, could do better. I think the Tevon Austin signing would be very shortsighted if we didn't at least try to use him in the passing game. You have...

Why did Dallas move on from Ryan Switzer so soon?

That's not position flex. They drafted that player (QB) specifically to convert him to WR because of his speed, just as the Cowboys did with Stanback.

Why did Dallas move on from Ryan Switzer so soon?

Can you name a drafted WR that the guy in NE made into a RB?

    2018 NFL Draft Thread

What an absolute crock of complete bullshit. Are these jerks trying to tell the fan base that they have to wait until game time to do player evals? Like Chaz Green was ripping it up in practice. The bottom line is that our staff is incapable of making accurate personnel assessments when a...
