    The WORST kind of poster

Everything about what the alleged "John" said is totally plausible, no quarrel there.

    The WORST kind of poster

Instead of the fakeass "my guy on the inside tells me" crap, why not just make the "bold" predictions yourself? Is it done so that when you're toweringly wrong, you have the built-in out? Never understood the mentality behind this type stuff. You're already pretty anonymous. Your online ego can...

2018 NFL Week #15 Gameday Thread: Dallas Cowboys (8-5) @ Indianapolis Colts (7-6)

Pretty sure the homers were following the lead of Ginger and our idiot regime in Dallas with that. Same idiots who kept saying "Dez loves football." Oh I discern lots of differences, chief among them is the difference in the amount of money each is guilty of stealing. Giving VERY little for what...

So was Bill Bates, an actual guy who loves football. Played his heart and soul out for 15 fucking years in Dallas. Most of any other Cowboy along with only two others. Earned every dime he was paid. Neither Dez or Irving are qualified to even carry his helmet.

Back to the "passion" defense and mantra.

Neither of them "love football." And the idiot regime in Dallas wouldn't know what a player who loves football even looks like. Even with several such I could name, on the roster. THAT'S the point.

He was "best" at what? The jump ball. This ain't basketball. Dez sucked ass as a wideout. Didn't deserve a 10th of what he collected in pay. Then never tried to justify it when collected. You're really going to trust this idiot regime in their opinion of who loves football? Dez didn't love...

Wanted to play and compete as long as it didn't mean putting in the time and the work to master his craft? That's what people who love football do. Dez was as big of if not more of a fucking thief than Irving is.
  9. Doomsday

Like we haven't seen this same movie before, and all its sequels.

The Cowboys House Organ is recycling the same "don't stop believing" shit it always does, after every on-field debacle. Most recent example: Cowboys Nation, It's Time To Take a Deep Breath See kids? It IS all sunshine and rainbows! You just have to collectively BELIEVE and ROOT FOR YOUR HEROES...

5-6 years ago Carrot had a case, about the ingredients. Personnel-wise we were below average. That's been steadily improving though with I suspect, the influence of McClay. It's to the point now that even with the decimated o-line and lack of depth in some important areas, our personnel matches...

The chef can no longer throw up his hands and complain about the ingredients and have a case, like he could in years past. He's still serving the same plate of hammered dogshit he always did. It ain't the ingredients, it's the chef and always was. Even booze-addled Jerral surely now sees that.

Truly for the first time in 20-plus years, I believe we have the personnel to get the Lombardi. Lack of depth hurts and some key positions are a bit shaky but overall compared to average NFL personnel we're on the better end if the scale overall. The biggest problem we have is THE COACHING.

No quarrel with any of that. Except maybe, Emmitt was the same way, talent-wise. So much better than anyone else BUT, he constantly worked to get even better, to improve. That's why he's a Hall of Famer and what separates him from the Zeke's of the world, who never will be. Another example...

It probably only happened when he was hurt, it was a different era. You stayed IN until they told you to come out, if you weren't hurt. Was that way with ALL positions, up until about 30 years ago when rotating defensive linemen to keep them fresh came into vogue after the Jimmy Johnsons of the...

Yeah. Fresh legs after the halftime break, and hadn't done much at all to that point. It was part of the PLAN for that game. Such bullshit, really. Zeke doesn't leave the game on his own request, they intentionally SPELL him because they are stupid, don't want to "wear him out." They've done...
