2023 NFL Week 6: Dallas Cowboys vs. Los Angeles Chargers

Well, okay, I didn't watch the games and I'm not sure how it happened, but both the Eagles and the Niners lost. Can we take advantage and beat the Chargers? We got a bit of a gift here.

I think Bosa has an ankle injury or something like that, so that might slow him down.

I think the bye gives the Chargers enough rest to win. Eckler coming back helps. Our pass rush is only lethal if we have a lead. I still don't think we can stop the run the way we should. Normally, I might think that a team coming off a bye might be rusty, but not when that team is playing the...

My GUESS is the NFL will expand internationally sooner than later. The Jags will likely move to London. The writing is on the wall. I still think San Antonio can support a team. Definitely Mexico City, Toronto. The 17 game season will tide them over until international expansion happens.

As far as I'm concerned, good riddance. I'm not a fan of LeBron. I think he is an ass who sold out to China. I call for a boycott of the Cowboys. It's not the same as not being a fan of the Cowboys.

When I watch a game I usually do so in the background. I'm usually also working on my computer. So I'm not a good judge, but to me Mazi is a ghost. Has he made one highlight play yet? Come on. He's a first-round pick. Surely we have higher expectations for him than he stands his ground.

I haven't kept up with it. But if the price were right I wouldn't mind adding him. I do wonder if Parsons has the size to hold for another couple of years going up against guys that outweigh him by 80 or more pounds. Jordan Mailata, for example, is 6'8 and 366 pounds.

It was funny when Al Michaels clearly couldn't remember her name. Did you catch that?

Sherman was a heck of a player. I personally don't discount his comments. I'd like to know how he defines true number one. With 17 games though, in a pass happy era, the mark of a great number 1 go-to WR should be closer to 1500 yards. Drew Pearson had 14 game seasons when teams didn't pass on...

What is it with these asinine announcers who can't stop mentioning Taylor Swift? I swear, I don't know a single song that she sings. She's sort of skanky looking to me too. Oh, and I think the Chargers will win. That will send the kiss asses on the website into a panic.

    Day After Thoughts- Gloomsday Edition

Don 't worry people! I just heard Jerry Jones on the website say that we have resolve and Dak will lead us to the promised land. So we're good. We better hope that the Chargers don't have resolve too. I almost want the Chargers to beat us just so I can hear Jerry's next line of bullshit.

I'm not here to defend Dak. But, I disagree with changing the offense. McCarthy should have either changed it right away or not at all. I'm a fan who was screaming to keep drafting QBs after Dak's rookie year. Who knows, maybe we would have landed Mahomes. The main problem I had when I...

    Day After Thoughts- Gloomsday Edition

The team is overrated. The cowboys are always overrated! I sometimes go to other team websites. They don't have anywhere near the coverage that the cowboys have. We have something like 10 shows covering the cowboys. Even teams like the patriots don't have anywhere near what the cowboys have...

I wonder if we'll get embarrassed by the Chargers too? Bosa is giving Bosa some pointers etc. I can't say I'm confident that we will win.

It's unfortunate that it will not happen, but I wish I knew of a way to get fans to boycott the Cowboys until Jerry and Stephen Jones resign. Jerry has tried everything except resigning for 5 years. He can go back to it or Stephen can.

What do you mean by "just did" because what I'm looking at on Spotrac suggests a relatively cap friendly contract. For example, in 2026 (only 3 years away, less really) his dead cap drops to 13 million. In 2027 it's 6.5 million. By 2028 there is no more dead money. This gives KC flexibility...

If Dak cared, he wouldn't have put up a fuss abotu signign a 5 year deal or forced the Cowboys to franchise him. ALL players know that if they are getting a dollar then that is 1 dollar not going to someone else. They can hope and pray that the cap goes up every year. They can come up with a 21...

His INT ratio wasn't that bad. Some of those were him trying to make something happen because Gavin Escobar and Kevin Ogletree weren't getting open. At times he had Witten and virtually nodody else gettign open. Dez was a dolt early in his career who had a limited route tree. et cetc. To win...
