The whole point is this cap money keeps getting carried over to the next year. How does that help our cap problems? What am I missing here? I understand we restructured some contracts but they still get their money eventually, right?

What the fuck is the difference. We'll just waste it on non productive free agents or average Joes. I can honestly say I'm not excited about the cap or free agency. I'm sure Jerry will ruin my excitement for the draft though. Can't wait to see what our first pick is.
