Daniel Jeremiah and Bucky Brooks on how to build a championship team

Awuzie is reminding me a lot of Orlando Scandrick. He's seemingly always in position to make a play, but doesn't because he refuses to look back for the ball. Even on plays when he sees the WR starting to extend his arms/hands he wont look back.

2018 NFL Week #12 Gameday Thread: Washington Redskins (6-6) @ Dallas Cowboys (5-5)

This is from Washington-Dallas, Thanksgiving Day 1990. This is one of my favorite Thanksgiving games ever, because it was kinda the game we officially announced "we've arrived". We had upset the Rams the previous week in LA and were 4-7, we'd then upset the heavily favored Redskins (who advanced...

Daniel Jeremiah and Bucky Brooks on how to build a championship team

They've had the advantage of the best HC, coaching staff and QB in the league since basically 2001. But a lot of those teams were loaded quality talent too. You might need to go do some homework there icup.

    Linebackers

Sean Lee would definitely qualify for that, when he's healthy. Which hasn't been often enough. But dude is definitely a playmaker. LVE looks like a perennial probowler for years to come though.

Daniel Jeremiah and Bucky Brooks on how to build a championship team

I pilfered this from that other forum so the opening commentary isn't mine. Interesting stuff though. I do like both these guys as talent analysts for the draft etc etc. Jeremiah actually worked for several NFL front offices and Brooks played in the league.

Curtis Crabtree ProFootball Talk on NBC Sports The Seattle Seahawks are the only team in the NFL to have run on the ball on more than 50 percent of their offensive snaps. While the rest of the league has been chasing offense, offense, offense, Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll vowed to get back...

Certainly appears to be a gimme for sure. Maybe the Saints will have a major let down or something though and give us a chance to hang in there.

For us to beat the Saints, Rams or Chiefs we'd pretty much have to mimic how the Giants beat San Fran and Buffalo in 1990. Play solid defense, try to keep the other team to FG's instead of TD's and really shorten the game by dominating time of possession and of course avoiding turnovers ourselves.

Crawford and Collins are both pretty fair interior pass rushers. Hell Philly even felt compelled to choke hold Damian Wilson and that was ignored too. Not exactly Lawrence Taylor there BB.

They were referring to pass plays there Charean. 300+ drop backs without a single holding call on a pass play.

There was nothing exciting about that game last night. It was pure garbage football. Looked just like the garbage football the Big 12 plays.
