    Coach firing thread

I'm totally on board with Dooms' take, short of the NFC Championship game I don't think Garrett is the HC next yr. Maybe if they beat Seattle but had a really close loss at New Orleans or LA, he gets another year. But lost in some of drunken Jerry's idiot comments from several weeks ago was...

    Coach firing thread

If Richard wants to be a HC, there's nothing we can do to keep him short of firing Garrett and naming Richard HC here. I have a decent feeling that after Saturday night, there's may be another opening for HC job.

I don't care if he leaves or not. It's not like he remade Doomsday or the 85 Bears defense here. The defense is above average, at best. Any decent coach could get this group of players to "above average"

2018 NFL Week #17 Gameday Thread: Dallas Cowboys (9-6) @ New York Giants (5-10)

I don't buy into the chemistry stuff, but he is rusty, slow and is clearly a liability on the field right now.

I really think it'll be 1 and done, and I do think there's a decent chance we get man handled. The end result will be what we all are dreaming of, the end of Jason Garrett. If we get embarrassed I just cant see Jones waking up Sunday morning and thinking "we have the right guy"

2018 NFL Week #17 Gameday Thread: Dallas Cowboys (9-6) @ New York Giants (5-10)

Not enough pressure and far too few turnovers, but to me the biggest issue is the tackling. It's awful, and after being pretty freaking spectacular against New Orleans it's been horrendous every week since, and Sunday vs NYG might have been by far the worst. The really good defenses year over...

Yep, they should shut him down. Joe Thomas showed far more range when he entered the game.

Mike Mayock to be Raiders GM

The Raiders are going to be a massive joke for years to come I think. Only hope they have is the league office and Vegas fixing games for them after they move.

Cant remember if it was 3rd or 4th down late in the 4th, but he gave up an awful completion downfield in the middle and had his back completely turned to the play. Had he simply looked it would have been an easy pick or at worst a pass knocked down. It's a play he used to make in his sleep.

    Coach firing thread

Gase may get calls for another HC opp, but if not Jones and the Cowboys should have him at the top of any list whether it's for HC here, or at least as the new offensive coordinator. He has a tremendous reputation as playcaller/QB developer.

    1) Glad we won yesterday and despite a few bad plays, Prescott had a huge game and did it without several of our best players. 2) Glad to see they discovered throwing to the TE was helpful. 3) Have real concerns about Maher going into the postseason. 4) After what's happened since the end of...

I agree about comparing what happened in 2007 to today, it has no bearing. We also don't have a starting QB who'll bail out the week before for a trip to Cabo instead of studying his ass off for the biggest game of his career. That said, the late season injuries to Romo and Owens played a part...

And they paid Kirk Cousins how much money again? Everybody seems to love them some Zimmer, but he's exactly what I thought he'd always be.
