lol, didn't realize it went that far back. Thought maybe they deserved credit for doing something decent but as usual anything good sprung from Jimmy

    Did You Know:?

Since the NFL first started awarding compensatory draft picks in 1994, the Patriots have received 33 selections. That ranks as the fourth-highest total in the NFL, behind the Ravens (47), Cowboys (37) and Packers (37). kind of surprised Dallas is that high in this stat

    Ezekiel Elliot

Good points Dbair & TE, I don't have a clue how to judge talent but I'd agree about the RB position having the quickest impact although they got pretty fast impact from Z Martin by all appearances. I don't know what they should do, very tough decisions looming imo

    Ezekiel Elliot

Another thing to consider about this pick at #4 is, IIRC, the salary is fully guaranteed and the cost for this pick will be $20-22 M, regardless of how they perform (please correct me if I'm wrong, I can't remember where I read this). Considering they wouldn't pay Murray this much, it makes me...

guess I could get off my ass and google it: I initially assumed it was alcohol related but drugs are in play too under either scenario, so who knows what this dumbass did

Thx I realized after I hit send I should have been more specific, I know what the acronyms stand for but I don't know how the law treats them differently. I'm assuming DUI isn't as bad as DWI? IIRC, DWI is greater than the legal limit of BAC (10%?) DUI < 10%?

Dallas would get the 2nd round pick in this years draft. I wish Tennessee would pick him up to help block for Mariota and Murray, that would give Dallas the 32nd pick

    NFL Free Agency news

ah, that makes more since, thought you meant compensatory picks as reported so far, this deal makes no sense to me from Miami's perspective, I don't understand why they'd take on the two iffy players, their contracts and give up a better 1st round pick maybe it will make sense when the full...

    NFL Free Agency news

Whats up with the compensatory picks? Thought those weren't tradable? Eagles getting rid of those players and moving up to the #8 pick sounds like a fleece to me, I don't understand how Miami is valuing these players

    NFL Free Agency news

Im fine with spending if it would work, I just don't see it working that often and I don't have confidence in the "brain" trust that is the Cowboys to find these players that are worth the big bucks. Admittedly, I'm still reeling from contracts to Carr, Barber, Roy Williams, Ratliff extension...

    NFL Free Agency news

it appears to me they are using it, they don't have a lot of cap space and will have to release Carr and/or restructure contracts to free up space As should be abundantly clear by now, I'm no lover of the jones family but I'm not ready to buy that Stephen just wants to be cheap so he can pocket...

    NFL Free Agency news

It really doesn't make sense to say Stephen is just being cheap because there is a salary cap floor and they have to spend. So, the only logical motivation for being "cheap" is to be prudent with cap dollars in such a way that makes the team better and gives them flexibility and leverage going...
