2018 NFL Week #17 Gameday Thread: Dallas Cowboys (9-6) @ New York Giants (5-10)

Now that the Eagles won, it looks like the Vikings will lose, and Seattle will win, which team do we end up with? I haven’t been able to watch the games. So I haven’t heard the different scenarios

I will simplify things for you. None of the other shit will matter. We will lose in the playoffs because of Jason Garrett. He will get out coached by ANY other coach in the playoffs. And that will cost us the game.

Everything matters to a certain degree. Some more than others. Including coaching, and that’s where we fall short. That’s why I say the opponent doesn’t matter. Because whoever we may play we will still end up at a disadvantage with Garrett as our HC regardless of the opponent.

2018 NFL Week #17 Gameday Thread: Dallas Cowboys (9-6) @ New York Giants (5-10)

We’ve beaten PHI twice this season so I’d rather see them over Seattle at this point. It would be poetic justice if we had to beat the Eagles on the road to the Super Bowl. Beating the Eagles 3 games in one season would be great But I digress..... We’d have to win the NFC Championship to make...

We have proven we can beat any team on any given Sunday. We haven’t proven we can do it two weeks in a row. If we find a way to beat our first opponent I don’t see us beating the second one. Who the opponent might be doesn’t matter. We can’t put two dominant games together in a row. And...

This team is soooo inconsistent I don’t trust them vs anybody anymore With a large portion of my family being Seattle fans it will be my luck that they stomp us. But as I’ve said all year, if that’s what it takes to make sure Garrett gets fired I’ll gladly take the shit taking from all of them...

It doesn’t matter who we play in the playoffs We ALL know we are going to lose regardless of the opponent

I never said it didn’t happen. I even conceded that point. My contention with your statement is that it happens on “almost every play” which it doesn’t. Had you of said it happened 50% of the time I’d have acquiesced and thought 50% of the time was high, but possibly close enough to be a semi...

You are the one with the asinine claim. The burden of proof on Your claim is on you my friend What should we say constitutes your “almost every play” statement? 8 out of 10? Sound fair?

That Barkley fumble is bullshit. The ball crosses the goal line. But it shouldn’t matter if you don’t retain the football at the end of the play. These current rules are total shit I miss the old days when if you didn’t have the ball at the end of the play it was a fumble

Two of Dak’s best plays today have been when he rolls out to the right and had to throw on the run. Maybe we should stop trying to convert him into a damn pocket passer

Dak has overthrown 2 wide open receivers that would have been TD’s today. Which he seems to do two or more times each game. I’d like to see a stat on how many wide open WR’s he’s overthrown on deep balls this season

You would think Dak’s QB coach might be able to help with that But Dak has more NFL experience than his QB coach, so there’s that
