There isn't. Claiborne is good, will go much higher than 14th, and is nowhere near the talent Peterson is. This draft is deep at OL and WR. There are also a lot of first round CB's but again, nowhere near Patrick Peterson. I'm not seeing a lot of elite pass rushers, especially with Jarvis Jones...

Jones won't fire Garrett but let's say he did. I think Gruden could come in and win with this offense. The defense needs an overhaul no matter who the Head Coach is.

I just don't think there is a corner in Peterson's class this year. I also don't think an Aldon Smith-level pass rusher will be available around pick 14 this year.

With the 14th pick we are in prime David DeCastro range. I'm just worried that we are so desperate for defensive players we may end up reaching for someone like Dennard or Devon Still.

Garrett has pissed me off as much as anyone but I honestly think he would be okay if he hired a proven playcaller. Someone to balance him out and bounce opinions off. He just needs to be the Head Coach.
