But who knows, it's just the official cowboys website. Maybe they're wrong.
I like that scenario too but am hopeful that a team looking for Tannehill would be more desperate and we look like we will be in obvious trade down mode at 14. Too many similar value players in the 10 to 20 range.
Very familiar with him. He played with 9 to 10 future NFL players on Alabama's defense and against some pretty crappy SEC QB's. Again, good player, I just don't think he'll be anything special at the next level. I think if you put Barry Church in his spot at Alabama he would put up similar numbers.
well we have done a Special Teams Draft (2009) and now a Back-up Free Agency. Maybe we'll do a Starters Draft ?
1 DeCastro
2 Konz (trade up)
3 Bruce 'I hate sandwich signs" Irvin
4 Janzen Jackson
DeCastro and Konz would start immediately. Irvin and Jackson would be starting by 2013.
I wanna believe in Bernadeau's potential but then I realize the same guy who signed off on him was most likley the same guy who thought Livings was worth a damn.
They had worked a lot with changing Aaron Rodgers' technique and really changed his footwork and throwing motion while he sat behind Favre. Tebow is obviously much worse off than Rodgers was but the theory is, they think they can do the same with Tebow. Green Bay has really good fans too so...
signing a crap safety to a 5-year extension when there was no need or rush...giving a suspect, 30-year old guard $6 million guaranteed...franchising an outside linebacker who averages just over 4 sacks a year... all good ideas no?
Spencer, 5 years - 21.5 sacks, 266 tackles, 1 INT
Wimbley, 6 years - 42.5 sacks, 369 tackles, 2 INT
In one more season Wimbley has 103 more tackles and 21 more sacks. Wimbley is only 3 months older.
It's really hard to argue against Kamerion Wimbley, especially since signing him would take up less room than Spencer's $8.8M cap hit and would mean we could sign another 1 or 2 players. He's only 3 months older than Spencer and in only 1 more season than Spencer, Wimbley has 21 more career...
