Bruce Carter won't replace Cowboys Keith Brooking; he'll learn under him

Nah, I let him off because I didn't want others to feel bad for me. I could've sent some PMs but I'm lazy.

Players you're glad we didn't draft?

Any of the QBs/CBs that went in the first round.

Bruce Carter won't replace Cowboys Keith Brooking; he'll learn under him

Yeah, you always see the "she's dead" comments but that only leads to necrophilia jokes. I figured I would try a different angle.

Adam Schefter: Cowboys going after Ndamdi Asomghua

I do not think anyone knows what the real number is, but it is known that it will be less than his base salary from 2011 and 2012. We can cut him, split the difference over two years and save about $3 million in cap space total.

Bruce Carter won't replace Cowboys Keith Brooking; he'll learn under him

:mock I wasn't serious, just proving that mom jokes aren't funny. Her health is poor but the old battle-axe refuses to die.

Adam Schefter: Cowboys going after Ndamdi Asomghua

Writers keep mentioning a $12 millionish cap hit if we drop Roy but I keep writing to them and no one has produced numbers to validate it. From the last Watkins article I read: Watkins makes the mistake of assuming Roy's $4.3 milllion prorated bonus will extend over the final three years of...

2nd round pick, 40th overall - Bruce Carter OLB North Carolina....

Yeah there are polar bears at sea world. That does not equate to anyone being surrounded by butt fucking polar bears. You asked "Why step outside your house when you run the risk of getting butt raped by a polar bear each time?" and the answer is the probability of me getting butt raped by a...

    2011 NFL Draft Chatter....

    The Patriots are once again making other teams look foolish with their superior trades. They started with: 1(17), 1(28), 2(33), 2(60), 3(74), 3(92), 4(124), 5(156), 6(184) And now they have: 1(17), 1(NO 2012), 2(33), 2(56), 2(OAK 2012), 3(73), 3(74), 5(138), 5(159), 6(193), 7(219)

That is one of the stupidest arguments you have ever come up with. We are dealing with probability, not possibility.

2nd round pick, 40th overall - Bruce Carter OLB North Carolina....

I'm not acting like this is a career ending injury or even saying this was a bad pick. I simply do not like the idea that our two "ilbs of the future" are starting their careers with a major injury. If there was no concern about how he will come back then he would've stayed in the first round.

Marc Colombo's days may be numbered

Columbo was our worst OL before the injury and came back even worse after the injury. The only reason I ever wanted to keep him before was because of him being the only OL that was mean and nasty.

Right, it is not about being injury prone, it is about recovering from a serious injury. There is always risk involved with taking a guy who is injured. Will he come back at 100%? Will his longevity suffer? Will he shy from plays that put stress on his ACL?
