    Jeff Demps

Did you watch him at all at Florida? He makes Dantzler look pedestrian.

    Jeff Demps

Ian Rapoport talking to Emmitt Smith... Can Demps be a running back in the NFL? “He has the speed, he can be a skill back,” Smith told me. “If he can run routes out of the backfield, become a third-down back, he can be very impressive. He can run draws, reverses and so forth. He can create a...

Garrett hints at trading for a C

Even I'm more optimistic than that. I have to hope that Bernadeau and maybe Arkin step up. Free should be okay, Tyron will be a Pro Bowler. I think Livings is awful but he'll most likely get another year. We will just need to finally address the Center spot next off-season.

    Jeff Demps

Pretty much, he's 5'7". This isn't the typical track guy seems fast - let's try football project. He was a proven player at Florida. He would make a nice return man and a third down back, slot receiver type. He'd be dangerous on bubble screens.

Garrett hints at trading for a C

See, that's the problem. Jerry doesn't think that the O Line helped bring him 3 rings. He doesn't think that the incredible depth on D that Jimmy provided helped bring him 3 rings. He thinks it was the Triplets and of course, him.

    Jeff Demps

I would sign him yesterday. Hell, I would have drafted him in the 7th even though it means we would have missed out on Caleb McSurdy /sarcasm

Garrett hints at trading for a C

That will be a great day (if Free is our 5th best O Lineman). Right now, he's the clear #2. That's sad.

Garrett hints at trading for a C

I have zero problem with Arkin at center right now, he should have a huge learning curve. He was a small school left tackle in college and 2 years later he's being asked to snap the ball.

Garrett hints at trading for a C

Even if you buy into that signing Livings and Bernardeaux were "upgrades" we still did literally nothing to address the center spot which was a glaring weakness last year. Competition and accountability or so I've been told.

Garrett hints at trading for a C

Looks like how our off-season started, with the exception of Free. It's amazing to me that you have a glaring weak spot, you do almost nothing to address it, save sign a guy who's team didn't want him and another guy who couldn't earn a starting job on a supsect line, and then somehow, someway...

Yep. Report: Steelers Name David DeCastro Starting Right Guard Saturday, August 11th, 2012 at 5:48 pm by Dave Bryan Sooner or later it was going to happen, but in the case of Pittsburgh Steelers first round draft pick David DeCastro, sooner is certainly better as Jim Wexell reported today...

Mosley- "Cowboys camp one of most physical in years"

There is a large faction of Cowboy fans, usually the casual fan who bores me at work or in the airport or at the mall, who think Romo is the sole reason we don't win.

DeMarcus Ware: No one has blocked me like teammate Tyron Smith

They got into an "altercation" when I was there. I was happy to see Ware show some fight and even happier to see Tyron not backing down to Ware.

Sturm: Thoughts as Cowboys' season approaches

Elam didn't have more "big plays" but he is right he didn't bust as much as Sensabaugh did. Everything else he said about the safeties is dead on.

Jaiquawn Jarrett slides toward the bottom of the Eagles roster

Tooting my own horn, especially after you badmouthing me for Janzen Jackson, but I thought 2nd round was way too high for him. Did/do not like him at all.

    2013 NFL Draft Thread

I had read he was doing decent in camp. Guess not. I thought he was special 3 years ago and hoped that would carry over. I never claimed I never miss on a player.
