Now is usually the time teams start working UDFA's about signing. It's not impossible that they could be trying to jump back in but if you ever read stories about UDFA's they almost always say "the team called me and told me if I don't get drafted in the next round, they would love to sign me".

why wouldn't we try (or want) to win now with this core of players and their giant payroll? restructuring the crap out of everyone makes even less sense if we are playing for the future...???
