Nothing wrong with having two young veteran RB's on 1yr deals to bring to camp and preseason. They're battling for the backup RB spot here. I guess there's an outside chance both could be kept as backups since neither of them cost anything. Both still young as well.

Williams is two yrs younger than Dowdle and is also an excellent blocker and receiver, in addition to being a strong short yardage runner. Dowdle obviously thought he could get more money (then didnt). It doesnt matter, neither one of them would/will be a starter here anyway, it's about who...
