Willie McGinnest who was at camp today reported on NFLN that Taco got owned by La'el Collins all day long, and that's by a RT whose strength at this point isnt pass blocking.
A lot of talking heads have them as favorites in the Sam Darnold sweepstakes with a strong possibility of 0-16. I think they win a game or two, three tops.
I'd say he is about as good as Jerry could hire and retain. The really good ones know he and Red are frauds and wont touch it with a ten foot pole. Linehan was brutal as an HC like 25-33% winning percentage. Much like Wade it appears his ceiling is OC.
About that I am not sure how Dak manged to develop because the staff doesnt have anybody capable of it but supposedly they were in on Brad Kaaya in the 6th round this year. I didnt see it in him but apparently there somebody did.
I like the move, and I hate almost everything the FO does. I doubt you see him on skates like his predecessor used to spend most of the game. Quality OL play is a must and he'll be no worse that Free, and hopefully much better.
I hate this argument because this is 500 team since the last SB with two playoff wins in twenty years. To me that is suckage. Going back to the 60s and 70s to support the argument is even worse. Different era, different coach and particularly different owners. It is a whole lot of cherry...
Remember when Jimmy cut John Roper for falling a sleep in a meeting? This supposed to be Red's take on that. One little difference being the players respected/ feared Jimmy and were contending for rings then. Also it was before the Jerry's country club/ entitlement plague had spread.
