Could easily see him playing the POS role in Dallas. Jerry loves POS reclamation projects.

Would you agree that Johnny Football carried the team at TAMU? Not sure where you are going with this.

    Your takes on Dak..

Harder to be "accurate" when he played all but two years of his career under the old pass defense rules, where the Mel Blount's of the world could mug and body slam receivers all the way down the field. All things considered Staubach's numbers are all worldly.

2018 Training Camp - cuts, signings, trades and more

A couple thoughts here: First they may de-emphasize a position due to lack of talent, which makes those whiffs on TEs in the draft look even worse. Second, I dont feel that throwing downfield is Dak's strength (though it needs to be) and he seemed to perform better with a TE safety valve...

Cowboys Defense Will Tell the Story

In keeping my place as resident curmudgeon, I am not. Earl would give a nice boost, really bring the secondary together. However I dont like the middle of the D Line and the most important player on D is held together with bubble gum and scotch tape (Sean Lee). I forget what their record is...

That is why I am happy this place has stayed more like your neighborhood corner bar, than turning into the Dave and Busters at the mall.

2018 Training Camp - cuts, signings, trades and more

Jeff Heath is all over the place Wednesday OXNARD, Calif. – Jeff Heath doesn’t get the respect he deserves from a lot of Cowboys fans. Some people just can’t seem to believe a kid from Saginaw Valley State can play. While Earl Thomas has been on the tips of everybody’s tongue, Heath showed...

The 2018 Debacle as I see it

Strength of schedule 2014 18. Dallas Cowboys: 125-131, .488/ strength of schedule 2016 T-27. Dallas Cowboys 119-137 .465. A lot of you dont want to hear it but ole red has stayed employed beating the weak sisters of the poor. His record against teams with a winning record is abysmal. This...

The 2018 Debacle as I see it

Stars aligning for Urban Meyer to be HC here next year? I expect OSU to give him the boot and maybe his rep is damaged enough he would come here without organizational control. Its a long shot but I can hope.

The 2018 Debacle as I see it

Dont agree with any of this. I stand firm at 6 to 8 wins depending on acquiring Earl Thomas. I think the offense will be one dimensional (Zeke) and easy to defend, and the defense middle of the pack at best. Relatively speaking they have been injury free the last couple years, not sure that...

The 2018 Debacle as I see it

Set the records aside, the biggest thing about both Emmitt and Michael Irvin was the '"win or die trying" attitude. Off the field stuff aside, those were easy teams to you love. You think Chaz Green would have lasted 5 minutes there? Sadly warriors like that are extinct, particularly on this...
