FWIW someone on the college team I'm scouting was a practice squad RB on a couple of seasons ago and says he's not a bad guy but not the same guy behind the scenes and at times acted like he was well aware of his popularity. (I'm paraphrasing)

The Cowboys could have 3 first round picks every year the next 5 years and it wouldn't matter either. He's only coaching in New Orleans unless the NFL bars him from resigning there.

When the Redskins were 3-6 some of our fans were living in the same fantasy world when it couldn't be more obvious that there's no way he's coaching anywhere but New Orleans when he's reinstated.

RG3 is good but he's not God so he wont be able to convince Payton to leave New Orleans right now. No reason to thank him or the Redskins.

Browner doesn't surprise me one bit. Sherman was a size/speed prospect that was raw coming out of college but apparently his rise to stardom had more to it than good coaching. Maybe they can name adderal the 13th man? It would at least be an original term not ripped off from Texas A&M.

McGee's problem was he couldn't play. You actually have a pretty good setting for developing a QB with Romo having a few more good years in him before whoever this QB is would have to play. This all hinges on picking the right guy of course.

Cowboys and 49ers surely. Who else has more than one hall of famer right now? Check that the Redskins have two but it's still 49ers at number 1 with three hall of famers and than the Cowboys.

Three and a half seasons and they're still making critical mistakes at critical times on an almost weekly basis. Who gets to keep their job now a day if they go under .500 for 4 years in a row.

That one stung. They had three years to supposedly build the team up before handing it to a rookie QB. They failed and it's time for them to pack if the Redskins finish below 500.
