I agree. I just don’t think you can strip Garrett of the offense. I think it shows you have lost confidence in him. Would the new OC have the freedom to run his offense? Who knows how all that would work out?

I like the idea of hiring another OC to call plays and run the offense but that contradicts why you hired Jason Garrett in the first place. The day Garrett gives his duties as an offensive coordinator away is the day we need to look for another head coach.

I don’t recall seeing any penalties called that way this year. That could be a new rule and not enforced, i don’t know. My understanding of the rule was they had to be defenseless.
