Garrett said during his pres conference he wanted to call a time out with 4 seconds, not spike it. I don’t see how a coach could lose track of timeouts. Someone would be able to provide him that info if he forgot or couldn’t locate it. He did know he had at least 1 time out.

I would like him to stay at least another season. If the Cowboys have to learn another new defense next year we are back to square one. Once they get this defense down, it can be passed down to an in-house coach (Eberflus?). I do agree the defense needs some upgrades to take it to that next level.
