Don't recall anyone here that wanted Kitna to start. I do want a QB that is more consistent than Romo, but as long as he's the best we have then I want him to start. What's dumb though is when we treat him like he's a franchise QB and don't actively try to find a better QB.

I threw that in there for Brees. I didn't realize "basically 1st" was an option. But yeah, if you look at the top QB's in the league, all of them with the exception of Brady were first rounders. When people wonder why we've had so much trouble replacing Aikman, well, we've only drafted 2 QB's...

The top two will likely be out of our reach barring an enormous trade up. Even going from the mid teens to top 5 is substantial, let alone to #1 which is what it'd take to nab Luck. Landry Jones may be in the 10-15 range, but like you, I'm not real sure what type of pro he'll be at this point...

Yep. And while there is a list of QB's taken in the first round who ended up being busts, the majority of the superstar QB's were taken in the 1st/2nd round. So it's no wonder we've had a difficult time finding a replacement for Aikman when we haven't really tried to get any of the top tier...

A little late now. Maybe back in April we could've not drafted an injured LB in round 2 or Felix Jr in round 3 and instead gotten some talent who could actually help us. Not to mention the free agency period when we sat around with our thumbs up our arses while the rest of the league filled needs.
