    Day After Thoughts

Disclaimer- some of the comments in this arnt directed at people here, rather they are for alot the myopic boneheads at the other place I post at. I didnt expect a win yesterday, I said it numerous times during the short week. Almost nobody in this forum did. They all talked about how it was...

    Cowboys/Saints inactives

No Shockey or Sharper today for Saints: Cowboys | Week 12 Inactives Thu, 25 Nov 2010 12:22:30 -0800 The Dallas Cowboys have declared LB Brandon Williams, OT Jermey Parnell, DL Jimmy Saddler-McQueen, WR Kevin Ogletree, OL Phil Costa, OL Sam Young, DL Sean Lissemore, QB Tony Romo inactive for...

    Doug Free

Pretty impressive in spite of what a certain resident member contends. Matt Mosley also said this week Free deserves strong consideration for the probowl. I think we've got our LT for the next 6-8 years if he continues to improve as he has. This was in regards to Sundays game vs Detroit:

    Crayton injured in Monday's win

Looks like he may have a dislocated wrist, I'm guessing that might be a season ender. If so, it sux because we wont get the upgraded draft pick via trade now. He has 28 receptions, I think 39 was the line for us to get the higher (6th I think) pick.

    Day Ater Thoughts

Its great to win back to back games. I certainly didnt expect it would take till almost Thanksgiving to see it, but it feels good just the same. We're 2-0 now under Garrett and I'm proud of the team again this week. They could have folded tent when things started going bad, but instead they...

    Day After Thoughts

Yesterday was a great start to the rest of our season. I have no illusions about making a playoff run as we almost assuredly wont be in it. But yesterday was the most proud I've been of our team in a long, loing time. It brought back memories of 1990 and maybe early 1991, when our team was...

FWST "defense undone by antiquated schemes"

Defensive disaster One of the reasons Wade Phillips lost his job is because the Cowboys can no longer stop anybody on defense. Consider the Cowboys gave up an average of 15.6 points per game last year, ranking second in the league. They ranked fourth against the run, giving up only 90 yards...

    Day After Thoughts

Honestly whats there to say? We're the worst team in football. They arnt even competitive on the field. I'm convinced the 1989 Cowboys (AFTER the Herschel trade) would kick this team's butts. 1) Somewhere down the road, Jones is going to admit he blew it after the Baltimore and Philly debacles...

    Wade says- no lineup changes

Another brilliant move by our fearless leader. God this season sux.

Train wreck. Rock Bottom. Total and utter failure. You pick the terms to describe futility, and it pretty much fits here. Been watching football since 75, this version of the Cowboys has to go down as doing the least with the most in the history of the league, and certainly since the time I...

    Day After Thoughts

Well, we have 10 games to go but after last nights debacle, its probably safe to say we can start planning for the offseason and the draft. I've never been SOOOOO out and out wrong about a Cowboys team in all my years of watching. I genuinely thought this was a championship calibar team. I was...

    Call your shot for tonight

Win, lose or blowout loss and season is over. I have no idea why, I'm guessing a win. Course, I never expected us to lose to Washington, Chicago or Tennessee either. So what the hell do I know.

    Right now

The Bucs, Rams, Browns, Cardinals, Seahawks, Raiders, Jaguars and Chiefs all have more wins than the Cowboys. The Browns and Cards both beat the Super Bowl champions with rookie QB's starting. This has gotta be the worst coaching job in NFL history by Wade this year. You could take the best...

    Day After Thoughts

Definitely shaping up as the most depressing, frustrating season ever IMO. 2008 was bad, but they had a ton of injuries that yr. We're too talented to be 1-4 and see this kind of junk. I still dont think the season is over, its close, but we really could be 5-0 with a few breaks and a few less...

Ball might be out today, per DMN

Lineup twist Ball not a sure bet to play today Cowboys safety Alan Ball is recovering from a shoulder strain. If he is a late scratch or reinjures himself while playing, Barry Church and Danny McCray would get the first call. Mike Hamlin, who was cut Tuesday, was Ball's backup until a...

    Day After Thoughts

I would say at 1-3 and in sole possession of last place, that the "panic button" time has come at Valley Ranch. In all my years of watching this team (since 75) this has to be the most uninspired, underachieving bunch ever. The talent level is much too high to be continuously seeing these...

    Day After Thoughts

Huge win yesterday. The season wasnt over with a loss, but historically once your 0-3 your a good bet to be sitting home in January. 1) Props to Wade and the entire coaching staff yesterday. After two lackluster efforts and poor preparation in general, yesterday was a really solid effort. The...
