We're sacrificing the future with cap restructures

What cap problems? I have yet to see one person make specifics about how much dead money we have now, next year or the following. Much less an actual accounting. We were not supposed to be able to get this much room this year. People just have no clue what they are talking about and like to cry.

We're sacrificing the future with cap restructures

Bob, this thread has been you and swat crying about cap hell and mismanagement. Now it is apparent that we can free up upwards of $20m in space when we were supposed to have to scratch to even get under the cap and you are moving goalposts. If you would like to talk about other issues like the...

Obama moving the goal posts on sequester deal

I guess, most polls I see senate filibustering and house gridlock as the main culprit. The GOP has been eating a big old dick lately with Boehner crying about how Obama is trying to annihilate them. But hey if it makes you feel better to think that maybe it will work out like thinking Mitt had...

Obama moving the goal posts on sequester deal

I am still waiting for a criticism for the GOP. I will give you an example. Nancy Pelosi is a twat whose primary interest is in perpetuating the Washington elite class. or Obama appointed to both the SEC and Dodd-Frank Committees. banking lobbyists and banking employees. or The Tea Party...

We're sacrificing the future with cap restructures

The Cowboys are $5m under the cap now and still not released Free, Spears or Connor. The cap went up a few million to give us the $5m after the restructures. If we cut Spears and Connor we are looking at $9m under the cap. Next year Free saves us $7m or $2m this year if cut. Romo...

Redskins put contract talks on hold as they work to recoup salary cap space

The arbitrator was only able to address the contractual basis for NFL to levy such a penalty. The charter says that the NFL can do whatever the hell they want for the 'integrity of the game.' The arbitrator cannot decide at least not bindingly the question of antitrust which has criminal...

2013 Cap Set at just under 124 mils

He played better than you thought he ever had because he had double digit sacks. But I recall the conversations that we had last offseason where I said that people had severely undervalued his performance and gave pressures per rush versus sacks per rush. Remember the conversation about how...

2013 Cap Set at just under 124 mils

I base contract values on current performance when its hindsight. Spencer earned the money he was paid in 2012. I said as I did this time last year that you were misevaluating him. You have only wanted to keep him on a severe discount. It is what it is.

Earned it? I'd say he outperformed his contract. I agree not signing him long term last season was a mistake though.

2013 Cap Set at just under 124 mils

Free and Connor are both not dealt with. Then of course there is the Romo contract. If we are under the cap now and we do all three than that is over $10m more in cap room. Free doesn't help us until after June 1 unless he volunteers for a pay cut but that right there is your rookie room...

How much dead money are we looking at next year and the following year because of these restructures? Do you know or do you just like to bitch?

We're sacrificing the future with cap restructures

i said possible and Hatcher took a pittance last time and is an above average player. Yes, I would like to retain him assuming he stays healthy next year. At any cost? Of course not but you guys seem mentally incapable of considering specifics. Just generalitiy after generality.

Obama moving the goal posts on sequester deal

Using Reagen as your avatar and supporting current GOP policies makes you look an ignorant fool. It's like using Tex Shramm as your avatar and pimping Jerry Jones. GO RED TEAM GO!!!

Obama moving the goal posts on sequester deal

Personally I blame Clinton, Gingrich and Gramm for our current financial state. Bush is responsible for the deficit but the only effect that really had was because of the near default but that was because our two party system sucks. The three stooges otoh deregulated the financial industry.

Sounds as smart as faith based investments. Pass. Curious though what do you consider the basis for said 'immutable truth.'
