Rumor: Cowboys interesting in C/OG Colin Brown

I think my approach provides a better visual. Think Dorf on football

Rumor: Cowboys interesting in C/OG Colin Brown

How? By sawing off part of his legs? Just hold still! I'm an OL coach!

Jamaal Jackson failed workout and besides we got TEH COSTA

Does anyone find it odd that Callahan hasn't brought in anyone he has ties to? That is fairly typical move even if you just get some help from some guy experienced in your system. Am I missing someone.....I don't think they've brought anyone in with previous ties to Callahan?

MacMahon: Corner injuries could handcuff Rob Ryan's creativity

I find it amusing that Ryan needs three top end corners to make his defense work. Must be why he has never had a very high ranked unit

    Archer- 5 Wonders

I think one of the guard spots will be ok from this cast of characters. CB was a need and I think that was addressed. Maybe Johnson will fill one of those safety positions Next years draft looks ok for safeties and pass rushers. The travesty was not fixing guard when it was a great draft...

Galloway - Cowboys grabbing at air for wideouts

I wouldn't have given Robinson the contract he got from the jags. Think the front office did good there. But the guy did have talent. Injuries just killed him early in his career. I definitely don't think his production will be plug and play with whoever they stick in there

    Archer- 5 Wonders

This team could go into next offseason with legit needs at OLB, S, C, OG, WR and DL Really need someone to step up from the WR group and Lissemore to take that next step Think the Ratliff extension was more of a "Thanks for past performance thing"

Cowboys bring in three OL from last year's team for workouts

I didn't have an issue during those years. But that was Ireland and Parcells. I do have an issue with the way the pro personnel department is run now. Why they AOA, Loper, Dockery type continue to be brought back is beyond me. Try to turn over a rock once in a while. I don't think Judd...

Cowboys bring in three OL from last year's team for workouts

lol The pro personnel department has been lousy. It was decent under Parcells when they brought in guys like Kosier and Colombo. Of course, they also routinely churned the roster in those days. Now, roster churning consists of bringing back a bunch of clowns that everyone already knows can't...

Cowboys bring in three OL from last year's team for workouts

Brooking was terrible. Kosier and Colombo were decent but that was a different crew at that time. Hamlin was a good signing on his one year deal. After that, poor. Sensabaugh is a JAG. Davis wasn't worth the money Carr has potential. The rest from this year? Eh....again nothing...

Cowboys bring in three OL from last year's team for workouts

lol Brought back AOA. Passed on Waters last year. OK, what savvy pro personnel moves has Dallas been making lately? Compare Dallas to say, NE, who routinely brings in contributing veterans. You just don't see that in Dallas. Their pro moves are underwhelming and have been for awhile.

Cowboys bring in three OL from last year's team for workouts

Here's my biggest beef with this - this is the best the pro personnel department can come up with? Three guys that were on the roster last year? I'm convinced the pro personnel department in Dallas just isn't very creative. Laurent Robinson was a gift from Norv to Garrett.

Jason Witten talking about the Super Bowl again...

Most of the time I agree. Especially if it is Jerry spouting off about......well, anything. But what do you want the players to say? Ultimately, the Super Bowl should be your goal every year. It is probably good that these guys are starting to see the window closing and are trying to create a...

    2012 Training Camp Thread...

Everybody misses. Nobody is perfect in the draft and Parcells certainly had his share of blunders. However, the good personnel people have more good than bad at the end of the day. They make the team better and keeps the team on top. The team was definitely better after Parcells time than...

Better said than I could have. Another thing that annoys me at the Zone is that they always want to sweep what Parcells did in Dallas under the rug, call his time in Dallas a failure, etc. He totally changed the direction of the franchise.

I never said anything about their production. I simply said they were gambles on small school guys with measureables.....which they were. There is a reason why most of these guys are FCS or below. And great production at the FCS level doesn't always translate to success in the pros (as...

4th round is their gamble round. They take a chance on a guy with amazing athleticism usually from a small school. They've been doing it almost every year since Parcells left: Free, Stanback, McGee, AOA, Arkin, Matt Johnson.....the only guys they really didn't follow that trend with were...

Sounds interesting. Link it if you see it in the next couple of days. I'll keep my eye out for it as well. This just further reinforces my belief that Ciskowski is just a company man. I suspect that is why Parcells passed him over for Ireland. Oh, I know it'd be a waste of my time. Hostile...
