I think Belichick is struggling a bit more now that he lost his support staff (Dimitrioff and Pioli). Pioli might be back next year. Dimitrioff seems to be doing OK and he is the one I thought that might struggle the most.

Interesting that the Pats gave up a fourth for Talib. He's also in the last year of his contract I believe and has had a few off the field incidents. I would have moved Jenkins for a 4th and that is likely feasible considering what Talib went for.

The guy I want, Damontre Moore, is gone in your scenario. I like Montgomery, but the production isn't there. I'd probably go Jones just to shore up the line.

Are the scouts even that good? It seems like there have been quite a few that have been there awhile. I think you need some turnover from time to time or you get complacent. As far as trades, I'd look to move Jenkins or Felix, but I doubt you can get anything of value for either.

The funny thing is that there used to be a handful of people that would side with Hostile, but now no one really does. His head has to be spinning though because, as far as I can tell, his main argument these days simply seems to be "You have to just get lucky to win"

I doubt this team does anything......which is probably good. When was the last time Dallas came out on the good side of a player trade? I'd move Jenkins or Felix, but I expect the team to stand pat. Nobody overvalues their talent more than the Dallas.

I think it is a good draft for NT types. 3-4 DE types......I'm not sure. Kawann Short could probably play both, I think he is an end of the first round type. If the team is high in 1, I think they have to look at Hankins or Lotuletui though.

Exactly. I think you nailed it. The deal isn't bad....just unnecessary. He was a RFA next year. So tender him, see what he does and offer the same deal if he gets through camp healthy. Then you don't have any guaranteed money or SB to deal with. I'm pretty sure Spencer gets a new deal...

He has the size to be a 3-4 end though. I want another athletic rusher on the line somewhere
